This document will illustrate and guide you on how to register and set up your ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) Cloud account to enable use of Cloud Threat Detection (CTD). CTD is an off-premise sandbox solution that can supplement your already integrated Advanced Threat Defense (ATD) solution, or provide an alternative Cloud integration if an on-premise sandbox is not an optimal solution for your environment.
Sign-up for ePO Cloud
Prior to beginning the product integration, you must register for an ePO Cloud account. If you already have an existing ePO Cloud account, bypass this section and continue to the integration steps.
Head to ePO Cloud to sign-up. Here you will be able to register for a trial account allowing you to test-drive ePO in the Cloud, which provides an off-premise deployment option to reduce management and resources.
On the landing page, ensure that the McAfee Cloud Threat Detection checkbox is checked. Fill in all necessary fields in the forum, and submit to proceed.
Once your ePO Cloud account has been registered, login and head to your account settings. There will be a Subscriptions container, click on it to proceed to verify your subscription has been activated.
To increase the amount of file submissions allotted on a daily basis, a license must be purchased based on the amount of files expected to be submitted daily.
Navigate to McAfee ePO Cloud login . Enter the email associated with your account, and your password to log on.
