EEPC 6.1 Patch 3 completes FIPS Certification

Valued Customers,

I am very pleased to announce that McAfee Endpoint Encryption for PC (EEPC) v6.1 Patch 3 has successfully completed FIPS 140-2 certification. CMVP has issued certificate  1677 and 1686 for two discrete cryptographic modules, which will be posted to the NIST website shortly. With this certification, McAfee is now first to market with a certified full disk encryption product that utilizes Intel AES-NI technology. This is a significant benefit to our customers and a market differentiator.

Customers can refer to the NIST website for more information: (Once the NIST website has been updated)
