hDLP 9.1 to DLP 9.2 migration question

Hi All

Please share your expirience with me on the listed issues

Yesterday we migrated from hDLP 9.1 to hDLP 9.2 by reinstalling the extension and endpoint package on ePO 4.5 SP4.

As a  a result two issues appeared:

1. hDLP bypass code does not allow to remove old hDLP 9.1 agents, it does not match anymore for some reasons

2. DLP Policy Dictionaries and Text patterns tabs become empty

Please help us to find way to remove old hDLP agents and to fix the Dictionaries and Text patterns tabs

thanks in advance

Re: hDLP 9.1 to DLP 9.2 migration question

Hi

After the migration i imported the policy and all my custom text patterns were there. We haven't tested bypass codes on 9.1 agents, but we're suffering performance issues with the printing rules. So much that we had to disable them and open a case with mcafee.

I did the whole deployment using an ePO task and the agents were replaced succesfully.

What backwards compatability setting have you got set in the policy?

Re: hDLP 9.1 to DLP 9.2 migration question

Do you use the policy's built in password (entered during WCF install if i recall correctly) or a custom one when generating the bypass code?

I always use a custom generated one
