block Canon digital camera

Can't block Canon digital camera I've tried everything I can think of. I added information from the device mnagaer in the DLP policy still no go.

You need to be more specific - what exactly have you tried?

is it appearing as a camera, a USB storage device etc?

I would suggest creating a very generic PnP rule for USB to just monitor what's plugged in.  Once the camera has been plugged in, you can use the data collected in the incident manager to create your device definition and apply it to your blocking rule.
