To limit DLP Admins to add entry to DLP Policy Manager only

Hi, I am the Mcafee administrator of EPO. There are a few colleagues that are DLP admin rights to whitelist device. I want them to only have the right to whitelist devices only, and cannot delete the DLP policies, Rules and delete whitelisted devices entries. Under User Management > DLP Admin > Data Loss Prevention > Edit. Please guide me how to do that. my EPO version is 5.9.1

As of now we do not have permission set for DLP Admin that can solve your use case. The permission sets available for now are under Data Loss Prevention>Rule Sets Access Control are:

 
1) Use permissions - rule sets can be used in policies and discovery scans 
2) View and use permissions - rule sets can be used in policies and discovery scans and user can view the rule set details and rules 
3) Full permissions - rule sets can be used in policies and discovery scans and user can create, edit, delete, and view the rule set details and rules 

If you think this functionality is important and would like to see similar functionality in the future product releases, then please submit a product enhancement request.

Unfortunately, the policy configuration you desire is not possible.
If a user has the ability to create whitelisted devices, he/she would also have the ability to delete whitelisted devices.
