Vimalnavis tried to explain:
* Do not block SCSI BUS because if you have a REAL / REGULAR Disk in Laptop behind a SCSI-BUS zu block the disk > Bluescreen > END OF game!
* NO USB and (FAT/FAT32) will not catch all because in Laptops/Media card Readers those may not appear under USB.
We are currently starnded at a project where the customer has HP 6300 with MEDIA Card Reader 22in1. The solution from:
Will not work for us because we see "USBTOR\DISK" under "Compatible ID" and not something like "USBTOR\DISK_SD which we could sperate and block".
Also the SD-Card Reader and the other slots do some kinf of power cycle and USB Check with Blank Windows 7 and that geenrates an MONITORING event.
We have a case open with Mcafee since months now...
Anybody any info SDCARD, HP6XXX, MEDIA CARD Reader.
We would not have sold the MEDIA Card reader if clients would have beenbough over us...
What if person COMES with an NTFS SD-CARD? You dont' catch that. If you ENABLE LOCK on SCSI and NTFS you block ALL Internal BUS Systems on Laptops?
