I am removing DLP 9.2 from our estate but I can't find a command to remove it. The program is a .exe, but all the documentation specifies .msi's.
Is there a command to remove DLP .exe via command line/SCCM?
/? on the .exe gives me nothing.
I also need to remove the challenge password in EPO and i cannot find the feature.
I am afraid that is not going to be possible because when you removing dlp it will prompt for a remove password that needs to be created in epo.
I think you better go to remove the dlp via ePO.
Thanks for the reply.
If I do it in ePO does it circumvent the requirement for a removal password? i.e. Can I push it out to all machines at the same time?
Via epo does not need any password but your end clients (machines) must have mcafee agent in order to communicate with epo
You can disable the prompting for code on those machines via the DLP agent configuration policy under the advanced configuration tab. That would allow local scripts or removal via add/remove programs to run without prompting for the release code.
