Possible to Use McAfee DLP to protect/label data on Linux in AWS?
Hello everybody, we have McAfee's DLP deployed in our environment. Currently have DLPe Data Protection rules and device control rules on all compatible Windows/Mac hosts. It's working well.
We are trying to meet a certain organization's requirements for DLP protection to gain certification and we have some Linux servers in AWS that I'm trying to figure out a simple solution to cover DLP-wise. We have licensing for McAfee's NDLP along with Cloud Web Gateway. We have web gateway on premise but that does not seem like a good option since the assets we are trying to protect are in AWS. I would hate to have to build/deploy a NDLP prevent server and do all of the corresponding configuration just to protect a few Linux servers in AWS. We also have MVISION CASB but I see that we only have the option to scan AWS S3 buckets not specific systems and I don't see an option in MVISION DLP to protect data on those Linux systems in AWS.
Any ideas or suggestions anybody has to help us protect these Linux servers that are in our AWS instance DLP-wise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
