Poor System Performance (i.e. Internet Explorer)

Hi everyone,

We are experiencing poor system performance using DLP DLP 11.2.0.4
We recently migrated (= configured a separate new ePO system, deinstalled the products and agent on the clients and deployed the new one) to a new ePO Server.
Policies for agent and VSE were imported from the old system, but DLP had to be rebuild manually.

 

Problem:
Switching between Tabs in Internet Explorer 11 takes about 3 seconds; Reopening IE after minimazing it to the taskbar takes about 3 seconds (accompanied by graphic-bugs (e.g. seeing the underlying window)).
It generally feels like IE is not responding as well as it did before.
Users also state that the General System Performance is slower than before.

I temporally deinstalled DLP from my client and after a reboot the problems are gone and the system performance is back to normal!
Reinstalling DLP and the problems are back.

DLP is configured to just block USB access (depending on Active Directory-Groups), but i noticed there are 3 instances of "McAfee DLP Endpoint Text Extractor in the taskmanager.

Any idea what the problem might be?
Am I missing some settings in DLP?

I deactivated the dataprotection module regarding the Internet Explorer in the Windows Client-Configuration-Policy.

That seems to do the trick.
