We use Host DLP 9.1 to monitor users use of USB drives and the copying of files to and from them, however when copying a large amount of files people are complaining of the number of notifications that pop up (one per file) and this can take a long while to stop.
Is there a way to reduce this or to consolidate it to do less popup notifications when copying to such a large number of files?
I have a similar question. One thing I've noticed is that the notifications persist in instances where the device is waiting for a user response from an autorun (for example). When a user plugs in a device like a biometric USB drive, the popup notification with throw events persistantly until the user swips and stops the autorun.
Is this something that can be tweaked or is this an issue with the product?
Find it odd that nobody else has had this issue, our users are getting very frustrated when copying large project folders off and it would be nice to have the notification but a bit less!
Is this something that has been improved in the 9.2?
In the release notes it states -
An option in the agent configuration leaves the notification popup open until manually closed. Another option displays an Enter Release Code button in the popup.
Does this mean that one popup happens when copying a large number of files instead of a single popup for each file?
