New 5.10 EPO install, DLP Policy manager definitions empty

Jump to solution
This is a new fresh EPO install. I added my DLP key, but when I go to DLP Policy Manage, then definitions, it's completely blank. Have I missed something?

Removing the extension and then reinstalling did the trick. Thanks!

Hello @joshrountree ,

Few things to Check:

1. Change the browser and verify if that works.

2. I would suggest to verify the extension if that is installed properly and running fine.

3. what is the version of EPO, if that is 5.10 then verify if you have update 6 if not please do install and check if that resolves your issue, you can get it from software catalog.

I tried everything suggested and the DLP Policy Manager Definitions are still empty...

Any other ideas?

Hello @joshrountree ,

Please let me know the version of EPO:

Click on Menu > on bottom left side you will see EPO 5.10 and update installed.

I would like to know the exact version.

Hello @joshrountree ,

Perfect, I would suggest to raise a Service Request with us, as this seems to be some issue with extension and needs to be looked into to understand and resolve.

Also as this is a fresh install you can try to uninstall the extension and check in again to verify if that comes up.

Hello @joshrountree ,

I am glad that helped and resolved your issue. 🙂

But as this is a fresh install it was a feasible solution, if not then definitely the case needs to be created for further analysis to why it did not worked.

The only thing I can think of is it didn't download the definitions initially because I didn't have the key when the installation first came up. After putting in my key it thought the extension was up to date. After removing the extension and re-installing it, it saw my key and downloaded the definitions then.

I even removed the virtual machine and started completely over, and the behavior was the same.
