In our company we use a server-farm with load-balancer with Microsoft Terminal Server role on it. Users connect to their terminal sessions via HP Thin Clients. Inside every terminal session users can use MS Outlook, print documents and etc.
We use: MS Server 2016 on servers, McAfee DLP 11.4.200
According to McAfee DLP 11.4.200 supports MS Server 2016 but for me it's unclear to what extent it does.
So I have a question(s) (it may be naive to ask, but): Is it possible to install on every terminal server McAfee DLP Endpoint to control mail-sending, printing events? Has McAfee any KB or kind-of implementation scenario for such cases?
Re: McAfee DLP Endpoint on Microsoft Terminal Servers
Hello and thank you for posting here!
The DLPE Supported Environments KB contains some details on this. Server 2016 is supported, but there are some limitations. Core Editions of the server OS are not supported. Additionally, File System Discovery and Network Communication Protection Rules are not supported on any server platform and will not work. Beyond that, all other configuration and rule options should be available.
