MER logs

Hi,

Recently I am facing problems in collecting the MER logs from the workstations, as it gets stuck at 90% (Collecting WebMER Result data) , I have tried disabling the proxy,disabling internet and checked but still the same issue and I also tried downloading a new MER source file and ran. But no luck even tried different laptop (Windows 7 Enterprise SP1)

Looks like my changes are not saved.

 

Please review the KB- KB87824 for guidance as there was a known issue while executing WebMER logs.

If it doesn't help, you can collect logs manually.

1.msinfo32

2.Eventviewer logs.

3. Dump of temp folder(C:\Programdata\McAfee\DLP\Temp)

Make sure that DLP Debugging is enabled prior to collecting the logs and issue is reproducible couple of times. Kb:-KB77803

Hi,

 

We already have the steps in place as mentioned in the above KB, we even uninstalled DLP,rebooted the machine and ran the MER and still it stucks at collecting WebMER Result data.

I am afraid, not much I can suggest as this Group is for DLP. If the main issue for which you want to collect WebMER, you can still collect the logs manually and it should suffice.
