Install mcafee DLP 11.3 outlook send email to slowly

Hi all 

My system install McAfee DLP , I just set to USB block .

but i send email display pop up ( Please wait while McAfee DLP analyzes your email).

what happen with this problem ?

Thanks for your respond.

I know your mean .let me change question ask you .

In the Assigned Policies > DLP > Windows Client Configuration >Operational Mode and Modules >Operational Mode   

Than i choose Device control only , so outlook Will not be affected by DLP ?

@abel_pan Correct, when "Device Control Only" mode is enforced, Outlook is not affected.

Hello ,

Thanks for your post!

I would like to request you to please check the below mentioned steps:

check the locally assigned computer assignment group policy to make sure there isn't a custom policy here.  Find the machine in the ePO system tree, check the machine, select Actions>Agent>Modify policies on a single system, and then select DLP from the product list.  Verify the Computer Assignment Group policy that is assigned is the default. if it is custom, likely the e-mail rule is checked here.

Also, drill into the detailed properties for DLP for this machine.  here you will see all DLP rules that are applying to this machine.  if the e-mail rule is listed, then it is actually applying to the machine.

You are absolutely correct.

When "Device Control Only" mode is applied in that case Outlook will not be affected.
