We own license for Data Loss prevention - Discover 8.6 and we also own a fair number of Total Data Loss Prevention licenses. These were bought primarily for the the disk encryption which we have deployed widely. However the Host Data Loss Prevention modules look like they could be quite useful. How do the host based products fit with the network based products. What is the best use case for each.
Our new V9 combines the policies from Host & Network, and also includes ePO Command & Control. If you are wondering the benefits of each, i'd say the biggest benefit of Host compared the Network is that "host" policies follow the device to the "home network" or "guest network" whereas network policies are only on your network segments.Message was edited by: tbone34116 on 5/19/10 10:27:52 PM GMT-05:00
