How can I upgrade to mcafeeNDLmlos1.1.1-1_x86_64 ?

I recently installed  NDLP for testing on Vmware ESX all went well, however when  starts the iDiscover installation, setup  says that first I need rpm mcafeeNDLPmlos1.1.1-1.x86_64.rpm ... Where do I get it?

This looks like the same problem reported in this thread: https://community.mcafee.com/message/228460#228460

There's a document I received from support that had all the instructions on how to install it on ESX.

Hi,

I have same issue, if you find any workaround please share.

I followed the steps as per doc but no success, still asking McAfeemlos.

Here's how I converted the Manager to Discover after I found the same error and I did not have to get the RPM:

mkdir /data/install/discover9.2

(so I can put the software in location where it can be unpacked)

cp ndlp_idiscover.tgz /data/install/discover9.2/

cd /data/install/discover9.2

tar -xvfz ndlp_idiscover.tgz

./install_new_full idiscover .

The last command uses a new version of "install_new_full" and it forces the shell to look in the working directory for the bits (don't forget the ".")

This should work also for Monitor and Prevent software installs.

Yes, I already resolved the issue as dot was missing at the end of command

Its working now.
