Re: Host Data Loss Prevention 9.0 problem with Lotus Notes 8.5.1

Thanks for the response.

Not yet, I saw this issue on Friday, so I came to see if I was the only one.

We're keeping testing, maybe we'll call the support later if we really need this policy, it's not sure for the moment.

If we find something I'll tell you here, I'll keep cheking this forum.

Re: Host Data Loss Prevention 9.0 problem with Lotus Notes 8.5.1

Hi everybody,

I finally found what the problem was. In fact, the crash was not due to Host Data Loss Prevention client. It was because of VirusScan and its lotus scan.

As we don't need this scan, I disabled it by creating a new package with McAfee Installation Designer, and now it works fine : eMails can be sent or blocked by DLP client without any crash.

Best Regards,

Aurélien

Re: Host Data Loss Prevention 9.0 problem with Lotus Notes 8.5.1

Hi all,

In my case, When using Lotus note 8.5 to send email which attach content tag or Registered Documents tag, McAfee HDLP Block these emails and it work well.

But when email attach  application tag or Location tag. McAfee HDLP doesn't block these email so McAfee HDLP doesn't work correctly.

I have tried with Outlook it work well with all kind of tag!

Environment:

McAfee Host DLP version: 9.1 patch 1

   Lotus notes: 8.5.0

Client platform: Windows 7 pro 32 bits.

Have any body get the issue ?

Thanks!
