For encrypted files, shadowing works with removable storage but does not work with CD/DVD media

Jump to solution

I have requirement of file tracing/shadowing for encrypted files copied to CD/DVD media. DLP Removable Storage Protection rule apparently support this with built-in Windows burning feature but McAfee FRP burning feature(for encrypted data) is not supported with this rule.

File monitoring is possible with data protection rule-

1#Create Application file access protection rule

2#Create application template for FRP burner->MfeRmdApp.exe

3#Reaction->Action: No action->Enable checkbox for Report Incident
