Attached error is getting while applying DLP 9.3 policy though epo 5.1.
Failed saving whitelist:The whitelist explorer path is unavailable
Can you cross it whether whitelist folder is present on that system or not, because this error seems like path of whitelist folder is unavailable.
I thik your are applying this policy through web-console.
Hope you can understand my words.
Yes david I am applying policies through web-console of Admin System.
Correct me if I sounds wrong.
Error would have not been occurred if I would have applied the policies from physical web-console of ePO server.
Whitelist folder is created on ePO server at initial DLP installation and configuration.
Thanks for understand.Let me correct you, from web-console it can't find the path of your repository(which you had already created on your epo server.).
Try Same thing on ePO server,on this case it doesn't reflect you this type of error(means on this case it directly reached to that path because path is already present on same machine).
Hope I make you understand. If something required most welcome..
I've observed the same issue and determined the cause as a permissions restriction for the .NET DLPE console in IE. If you add the ePO server address into the IE trusted sites list then you should find the warning message will cease. As it saves the policy and is only a warning on the console the DLPE Agents should still have functioned as required.
