I'm trying to make the print screen lock using DLP 10.0, has anyone made this rule?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes, it is.
You only have to define this in the classification and in the own rule.
As I said earlier, it is possible to do several forms. Look at below the form to block all PDF
Step 1 - You need to create a different criteria as shown below.
Step 2 - You need to add the criteri "File Extention" and Select PDF Documents
Step 3 - In DLP Policy Manager, I created a Rule and put the name "Block Screen capture -
A) - I selected the classification created in step 1.
B) It will apply to all users.
C) A block message will appear for 10 seconds
D) Event will be sending to the ePO.
Step 4 - Once the rule is created you need to apply. So I had to go into Policy Assignment to do this.
Step 5 - Now it's just going to force the policy to the machines and when the user tries to take a screen capture of any PDF file, it will be blocked.
Hello,
I've created a video demonstrating how to create one to block Screen Capture. Remembering that there are several ways to do this. To help you, I've created a rule to block Screen Capture when the user is using Microsft Office applications.
Click on link bellow
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-nWeaFSeSM&feature=youtu.be
Step 1 - I created a classification called "Test - Screen Capture"
Step 2 - I added a policy to block Microsoft Office applications.
Step 3 - I entered my Rule Set "AboutNet".
Note: If you do not have it, you need to create one.
Step 4 - In DLP Policy Manager, I created a Rule and put the name "Block Screen capture - (Office)
A) - I selected the classification created in step 1.
B) It will apply to all users.
C) A block message will appear for 10 seconds
D) Event will be sending to the ePO.
Step 5 - Once the rule is created you need to apply. So I had to go into Policy Assignment to do this.
Step 6 - Now it's just going to force the policy to the machines and when the user tries to take a screen capture using Office, it will be blocked.
Look at below is the second part of the rule that was created above

Can I hellp you anything else ?
Thank You!
Is it possible to block screen capture on pdf files regardless of the aplication used (adobe acrobat, chrome, etc)?
