Can someone explain what, exactly, this setting in the Windows Client Config will do and what it helps to prevent? I can't find anything in the documentation.
Thanks!
Hello and thank you for posting here!
The "delay the start of DLP client" option delays the start of the fcag.exe process. This is the main logic process for the DLP Agent. The main use case for this feature would be to either identify or workaround a conflict with another process during start up on a system. One thing to note with setting a delay is that DLP rules will not be enforced until the fcag.exe process starts.
Thanks Corey-DLP, so in the case of say, Citrix--a machine always starts with a "fresh image" that contains no policy. Would there be a way for the machine to "check in" with ePO and get the policy that contains this setting or would it not pertain to Citrix machines?
