DLP Upgrade Incognito mode

Jump to solution

With recent DLP Device Control Upgrade to DLP v.11, Chrome Incognito mode has been disabled as a part of default DLP Device Control protection.

I would like to know from security perspective for keeping the incongnito mode disabled in the policy by default.

Please see below KB https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB90080&actp=null&viewlocale=en_US&showDraft=f... This feature is intended to prevent circumventing DLPE by using incognito mode as while in incognito mode, Chrome blocks the DLPE Chrome extension.
