DLP Policy is alerting for Presentations but not the files linked to them that contain the data
i have previously raised a request for this however using an advanced pattern has not resolved the problem.
users are created excel sheets with a decimal place is 13 digits, this does not trigger a DLP alert, however when the user links the document to a power point presentation as a graph this will then create events.
if their any additional configuration required or changes to be made as it is strange that it does not trigger from the file unless it is linked to powerpoint
examples can be provides as well as incident numbers.
This might be because of policy configuration, need to be verified in remote.
2. Why DLP triggers only when added the graph to power point? Since DLP triggers events, the rule is working as expected. Could you share the related incident details (screenshot) from incident manager?
