DLP Plug and Play rule for Wireless Printers

Hello all,

Wondering if anyone has ever setup a Plug and Play rule to block wireless printers and possibly share a screenshot of the configuration. We currently have DLP set to block USB devices but some of our users were able to bypass our whitelist process by having wireless printers and getting someone to install the drivers and software. Now since they are wireless our DLP rule to block USB devices gets completely bypassed. Anyone ever setup a new Plug and Play item themselves to specify wireless printers and how to do it?

I have not try this myself, however this is an opener and will definitely give it a go

Try "Device Class" - Wireless Communications Device, "Device Instance ID (Advanced) - you need to get the info via device manager and also "Device Friendly Name" - Also via device manager

Food for thoughts - Out of scope. How do this people have have access to install drivers? are they not suppose to be just domain user/local user account? You may need to work with your admin guys to review the access control.
