Regarding sensitive environment, please liason with your McAfee Account manager so that he can guide you.
You can also collect sanitized logs using WebMER tooll(KB:-

=> Custom Sanitization

Download and open the WebMER client.
At the bottom of WebMER product selection page, click Configure, to access the Custom Sanitization Settings options.
Custom sanitization can be achieved with either of the following options:

Once done, please log a service request with McAfee technical support.

Did you get a chance to collect DLP installation collected per steps--

Install the DLP agent locally on the client computer
Copy both DLPAgentInstall.exe and DLPAgentInstall.msi files to a temporary folder on the client (for example, C:\ ).
Click Start, Run, type cmd, and click OK.
Type the following command and press ENTER:

c:\DLPAgentInstall.exe /L*v "%TEMP%\DLPAgentInstall.log"

NOTE: You can find the log file in the %TEMP% folder, even if the installation fails.

I will look at this Custom Sanitization KB article.

Yes I ran the DLP install locally on the client exactly the way you recommended.The DLP Endpoing install gets to Time remaining...1 second and stalls. The DLPAgentInstallLog file not updated. System starts to slow down and never completes the install. I wait 10-15mins just in case it will complete, but it does not. I have to cancel the install or restart.
