Moved from Home to Business > DLP as  possibly better spot to get an answer.

Re: Blocked of Smartphones in HDLP

Souza,

Do you use smart phones in the USB port or firewire port?  Can you try pluging in to firewire??  How about e-sata? Maybe doing this will not block the samsung???

Is the smatrphone in airplane mode?  That can block them some times too.

Fichael

Re: Blocked of Smartphones in HDLP

I've managed to block Samsung and other makes by adding the Samsung Vendor ID (and other vendor ID's) to a Plug & Play Device Definition within Device Management part of the HDLP Policy Editor.

Samsung VID I've use is 04E8, leaving the Product ID blank.

This detects Samsung devices and based on the user assignment group rules will either allow the use or not.
