I installed Total Protection 2011 from a disc, but I am unable to activate. I have windows vista and internet explorer 8. I uninstalled IE9 to get Total Protection to work correctly, but I have a pop up saying "activating your product - please wait while we connect to McAfee.com." It doesn't connect. The only way I can clear this pop up is to shut down my computer.
Please follow the instructions below and then try to register McAfee programs;
