quick scan works on one HP laptop but not my second HP laptop. It starts but goes nowhere - even after an hour of the 'WHEEL' turning
You can see the status of the scan on the log file:
c:\ProgramData\McAfee\Endpoint Security\Logs\OnDemandScan_Activity.log
Something similar happened to me once
The problem was a symbolink link that was causing a loop on the scanning process.
@gdavila911 The suggestion you posted which is related to endpoint security. Its a corporate product.
@adsouza Please let us know the name of McAfee product and version installed on your computer.
