my product fails to install

hi. i recently uninstalled my virus protection program because i had to reinstall my operating system. now that i'm trying to reinstall it fails.

plus i have something in my programs called "mcafee virusscan online" and when i try to uninstall it gives me a window that says "navigation to the webpage was cancelled".

does anyone have any suggestions???

Sounds like there are still some remnants around from the uninstall.  I'd recommend reviewing the article at  You'll want to follow Steps 2 and 3 in the document:

Step 2 - Download and run MCPR.exe

Step 3 - Reinstall your McAfee Products
