can't download software

I upgraded my system to Windows 7 and now my subscription of McAfee SecurityCenterwon't finish downloading. Is it because my version is incompatible with Windows 7? I have no idea what to do. I don't have a CD installation either and I lost my old version of McAfee when I upgraded my system.

My feel is that

1 you should run MCPR removal tool in case your attempts actually installed some files they need to be cleaned out. Then reboot and run the preinstall tool.

MCPR

2. No other AV software ie Malware bytes registered version

3. check your hosts file in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc post it here if any Mcafee sites mentioned

Hi ,

I just verified you records and Im able to see your valid McAfee products in the website.
Could you please provide us with the following information so that we could help you better ?

What is the exact error message you receive at the time of download ? If possible attach a screen shot
How old is the computer ?
How is the computer currently connected to the internet ?
IS your windows 7 32 bit or 64bit ?

Hi,

This computer is 2-3 years old. It's connected through a local network DSL cable. And it is windows 7 32 bit.

Attached are the following error messages I get and the details in the virtual technician lead me to the website http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS100407&lc=1033

I am having the same problem.

The download starts then when the McAfee window pops up it says An unexpected error has occured.  The login process has experienced an unexpected server access error.  Please try again.

It's doing it on 2 different Windows 7 32 bit laptops

Hi,

Is there any solutions? If not is there another version I can purchase that is compatible with windows7? I need to have this resolved by Monday the 29th hopefully or I'll just find some other program. Thank you.

Sorry for the delayed response , Please run the Mcpreinstall tool from this linkand resintall your products from your account page in http://us.mcafee.com  and please let me know if you come across any issues.

It still isn't able to install. The same image occurs as well.
