I chatted with a McAfee Tech yesterday to get help downloading
the McAfee software that I purchased. When I click RUN nothing happens!!! The tech
was unable to help me and said that another higher level tech would call. I
still have not heard from anyone. This is not accetable considering I paid for a
product that does not work!

What is the operating system we use ?
How old is the computer ?
Any recent changes made to the computer ?
When it boots it should say the OS I would expect XP. Once booted go to start bottom left and click on start and control panel. Choose system and the OS is mentioned there as well as what service pack and how much ram. Post all these here please.
Also could be start settings control panel as path depends on how it was setup.
Have you had any other Antivirus or firewall installed?
OK what service pack of XP sp1 2 or 3 should be 3 to be safe. 32bit version of XP I assume?

I removed the old McAfee and still the new one will not install. Can someone please call me and walk me through this, because we paid for a product/service and we still have yet to benefit from the product? This will be better solved if someone can call me to resolve this issue; if not, I want a full refund and I will purchase a different security system for my computer.
