The McAfee icon will vanish once a week or so from my task bar, only returing after a restart... when it does this a service McClientAnalytics.exe is always running in the background. Tbhis service is not running at other times. So that may be connected.
The support person I talked to say, uninstall and reinstall McAfee. Is that a known fix to a known issue, or simply the safe response? Also what IS McClientAnalytics?
WE noticed that file in May there also is a AnalyticsSDK in Win 10 and we feel it is an 'Additional' layer of protection offered by Intel/McAfee. Unsure but anything new is good.
I would first run MVT and see if it detects any issue. Note the session ID number and either call support and tell them the number and ask them to reinstall or do it yourself.
