I hope someone can please help. I bought Total Protection through Digital River. The download link I was sent just gave me access to McAfeeOnlineServiceInfo.html and no .exe file. This just contained further instructions for going to the "Go to the McAfee homepage" and downloading from there, but obviously McAfee has no knowledge of that purchase as it wasn't bought through them. I have emailed support at McAfee and Digital River several times and followed all their instructions, but still the only thing I can download in the 1.26kb html doc. I have tried from another machine as well. If this cannot be resolved (as support don't seem to be able to understand my specific issue) I need to know how I can get my money back. Thanks.
When ever you purchase a McAfee product you will receive a Grant Number, you need to keep that handly always.
Login using the registered email id and password and you will get the option to download.
If you dont remember the registered email id and password. Call our toll free number and give the Grant Number and they will help you out.

Sorry but I am not registered with whichever database this login refers to (I am a UK customer). I need a UK telephone number as well. I am registered with McAfee UK, but it has no record of ever purchasing Total Protection as it was bought through River Media (who are apparently official sellers). I don't have a grant number either.
Look to the right "Worldwide Offices", Click on United Kingdon (2nd from Bottom) and you will get all the numbers for UK, Including customer care. I would recommend you speak to customer care first.
