Total Protection 2010 (3 licences) – Not working – Renew your subscription?

Help needed...

This morning I successfully purchased and installed McAfee Total Protection 2010. Using the Virus & Spyware tools I ran a quick scan of my PC and everything was in order. I visited the McAfee site and  My Account and saw that my account was active for the next 12 months.

It was at this point I noticed that there was a warning on the McAfee icon and the message stated 'Renew Your Subscription'. My 30 minute old subscription had lapsed?

I spoke with McAfee Tech Support, uninstalled and reinstalled as instructed using all the relevant links supplied and once again I had an active utility. 1 hour later I have been prompted to 'Renew Your Subscription – My computer is at risk'?

After another call I am told someone will be back to me within 48 hours.

At this stage My Account still shows an active subscription, but neither of my PC's will honour this. What is going on? Why does this not work? Any help / advice would be massively appreciated.

Try right-clicking the taskbar icon and select "Verify subscription" and reboot once done.  It should go away.
