Software Update

I cannot update. I get this message from McAfee; Your computer is at risk. Check for updates. ( I then try to update) I then receive;

 

McAfee cannot update your software. Please check your internet connection.  If the problem continues, please contact technical support


Any ideas?

Am doing this half blind as I just returned from an eye appointment.   Hopefully it will make sense.

The software can't find you Internet connection so maybe there is more than one which is confusing it?  Check your network centre for anomalies/

Run the Virtual Technician to see if it finds and fixes problems: http://mvt.mcafee.com/
