Re: Single file scan

Re the copy of the about screen suggestion it is an idea we have been pushing for ages. You can add a tick to the idea in the ideas forum I link to in my sig.

Re your versions There is a fix out but in the next version 11.6. AT&T will need to update to this version for their users to gain this and other fixes/enhancements.

Re: Single file scan

The OP got his/her version through AT&T.  Mine is just plain old purchased through McAfee with real money.

Re: Single file scan

But still 11.0 version? It is te version not the AT&T version that can do this. 11.6 getting distributed as we speak. Really an uninstall reinstall should get you 11.6 now.

Re: Single file scan

Seems strange mine in beta version file as is the version 12 I got online from the aussie server. Those with mcafee paid versions install from the aussie server it should fix this. If you have an AT&T or similiar version ask that they update asap.

Re: Single file scan

I re-downloaded and installed from my McAfee subscription.  I got 11.6.  It finally does do single-file scan.  Also, I have "allow outgoing only" option for firewall notifications again, which is a big big deal to me.  (Previously, I only had "allow once, allow all, or block", which meant I had to go in and edit the permissions every time I added an exception.)

Re: Single file scan

Thought the update would work now to get AT&T to get a move on though 11.6 is only just been pushed to the US and UK servers I would expect AT&T to go slow on releasing it as they would want to QA it themselves.

Re firewall setting sorry all my versions are now version 12 and its settings are differenet. Where is the setting you are mentioning in the firewall security settings? Or is this on the popup warning?
