Hello ladies & Gents!
Pedaling back to, two months ago. My Mcafee Internet Security has been giving me a little trouble where scanning the PC is concerned. I would give it a command to scan..But giving so, it would hang. Giving it five minites an error would show, stating the following
"An unexpected problem occured during your scan. Please click OK to go back to the Home page, and try running your scan again" That I did, but still the same..I have also uninstalled the software, leaving no traces behind. then tryed over by installing again.
I only have four days left until' the Subscription expires..and I really would like to carry on with this product
Is running with 64 Bit Windows 7 Ultimate
Some info about the product and a few steps that should resolve the issue.
Check and remove if there exists any other security software in control panel
Navigate through C:\Program files & common files – Check and remove if you have remnants of any other security software
Delete temporary files & cookies from your PC.
Reboot the PC and try running a scan again.
