I have noticed lately that when I try to run a scan using my McAfee Livesafe, it keeps saying 'Undefined%' and doesn't scan any files. To test out what is wrong, I've ran the virtual technician and it says two of my WebAdvisor files are missing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything but nothing seems to work. I've also tried just uninstalling WebAdvisor to see if it works without it but it doesn't run a scan without it.
Maybe this isn't related but My Windows 7 is fully updated but when I run a 'sfc /scannow' through the command prompt as administrator, it stops at 7% and says 'Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation'. I can't find the original Windows CD that came with it, so uninstalling Windows isn't really an option for me.
This is my last scan from virtual technician:

This is mostly due to corrupt Windows/Hardware settings which directly impacts McAfee's scanning abilities. In article TS102542 (mentioned in previous post) the last resort is re-installing Windows that might help on most instances.
