As far as I understand that thread, it's not at all sure there will be a 18.104.22.168.
Besides I know a guy who uses Bullguard, and he says they've managed to get their anti-spam plugin to work with Thunderbird 3. So maybe Mcafee should write and ask the Bull how they did it? ;-)

Thats a good idea but to be honest I don't think they are bothered. I was playing with windows live mail on my laptop and that does not work with mcafee so I googled it and it was supposed to be out in June 2009 and still waiting. I gave in and use 3.01 with thunderbird junk mail.
