I've installed McAfee via the download option into its latest version.
What I see in the program it is VirusScan 14.0
I had a previous version of McAfee, so I prefered to obtain the newer one via an update through the internet
After I installed the new program I cannot receive my mails from OUTLOOK (using POP3), saying that "could not connect (log-in) to your account"
I've been using ports 110 which is the one I need to use for my mail client (and I also enabled them in McAfee), and also check that OUTLOOK has full access
Even though I found a way to make it work again my OUTLOOK.
If I go to Real-time scanning settings, under the Attachment and locations options, I DISABLE the "email attachments" checkbox.
After that I can receive again mails with no problem.
Obviously I DONT WANT to disable this option, seems to be that there's possibly something else in order to fix this and keep enabled this option and making outlook to receive mails without problems.
IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO KEEP THIS CHECKBOX AND KEEP OUTLOOK WORKING WITH MY POP MAIL?
