McAfee Total Protection 2011

I´ve just bought McAfee Total Protection 2011. I had Internet security 2010. When installing Total Protection it first removes INternet Security 2010. So far no problem (Virtual Technician doesn´t find I McAfee product)

While continueing installation I get the following messages: mfenlfk.sys on McAfee NDIS Light Filter is needit. I don´t know where to find it. Then Installation stops.

Does anybody know what to do? I am working with Windows7

Hi dmollee,

There could still be some remnants of Internet security that the interrupts the download. Please follow the below steps before you download Total protection.

Run the McAfee removal tool from here and restart the computer.
Check and uninstall if you are using any other  security software.

Run Mcpreinstall tool from here.

Login to your McAfee account  and re-download the programs.

Please get back to us if you still face any issues , preferable with a screen shot of the particular error message

Hi, Dinesh,

I have the same problem described by dmollee and I followed your steps, but still cannot reinstall my product. Can you please look into the matter and get back to me ASAP because, in the meantime, I have no antivirus/firewall installed on my laptop.

Hi faby,

Please click on Browse on the error message and you could find that specified file on the next window . Select Ok and the installation would continue automatically
