McAfee Box Partly Overlaying Desktop

Every few days a McAfee text box appears on the bottom right-hand corner of my PC's desktop.

It doesn't respond to any attempt using the mouse or keyboard to move or close.

See attachment.

Any suggestion on how to stop it appearing would be appreciated.

Re: McAfee Box Partly Overlaying Desktop

Hello @personal_hawk ,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused

Please try the following steps and let us know if still face the issue

1.Please uninstall McAfee using the link Uninstall McAfee from the PC, Once done please restart your computer.

2. After restart please go to> My account-> download and re-install the McAfee application and see if that resolves the issue

If you still see the pop-up partially showing on the screen, Try to reduce screen resolution to check if you are able to see the complete pop-up any options.

Kindly keep us posted with the outcome to assist you better.

Try first to set the display scale to 100% ie have you got it set to say 125%

Go to start PC settings system display and check the scale setting.

Make sure the display resolution matches the recommended value of the monitor.
