Frist off I was suffing the web and sudenly i started getting little popups down in the corner saying "Windows Security Alert: Application cannot be executed. the file wuauclt.exe or rundlll32.exe is infected Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" Which is constantly poping up every three seconds, then it tries to get me to purchase security suite anti-virus to protect my computer, so i exit out of that and do a scan says that there are viruses so i get rid of them, but the messages keep coming up no matter what I do I even did another two or three scans and its still there. Please I need some help as soon as possible this has been going on for hours.
Please use MalwareBytes Anti-Malware to remove Security Suite from your computer. Or you can also use SUPERAntispyware. Both programs are free.

I have the same issue. The virus on my daughters PC but it also prevents access to the web so downloading support software is prevented as is access to the McAfee site. McAfee S/W is upto date. I had hoped to use the McAfee paid service but cant see how I could get this to work.....nor can I find anyone to ask!
I downloaded and ran Stinger and ran with various preference settings but it would not identify the virus. The problem persists. The virus also presents me from disabling the system restore....help!
I would next suggest you get a usb stick and download the free version of this program http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php from a non infected pc such as your neighbors or a relative. When you download this rename the download and installation folders to something you can easily remember. Virus and malware are written to self protect themselves so by virtue of renaming the files, you should be able to install them as they no longer pose a threat. Try to check for the latest updates and run the program and let it clean everything it finds and reboot the computer if you are prompted to do so. Do the same procedure for your daughters computer. Do the same procedures for this program as well www.superantispyware.com

I'm wondering why my McAfee Total Protection sofware didn't prevent the Security Suite virus from infecting my covered PC's? I had to purchase Spyware Doctor at 29.95 to remove this virus as my McAfee software continued to report that my computer was secure and had no issuues. I'vereceived an email from you to renew my subscription coverage. I have real concerns about your software if I have to purchase other packages to do what Im expecting your software to be doing. What is your liability when your software fails to do its job correctly and what incentive is there for me to renew my subscription if I cant rely on your product?
Considering the amount of time that the Security Suite virus has been known about, I find your reponse to my inquiry lacking. What is McAfee doing to make sure this known virus doesn't continue to attack? Will there be an update to the software?
