Freeware video converter downloads

Does anyone know of a safe freeware video converter please. I have been to five different web sites with five different converter applications and McAfee has blocked them all. I have use Converter Light for the last year but I have just reblown my pc and this is the problem I have when trying to reload the application.

I tested so many video encoders and AppGeeker is the BEST so far, good video quality and easy to handle! I used it to upload my vids on Youtube or Dailymotion. It's really efficient and you have a lot of options for video and audioc settings.
