Downloading issues

Firefox crashes whenever I have multiple simultaneous downloads.  When I have multiple downloads, one of them finishes then the mcafee download advisory comes up and the browser crashes.

Re: Downloading issues

Is it only on this file seems to imply the file is suspect.

Does this happen when you download only it ie not multiple files?

Re: Downloading issues

there is a 50/50 chance it will come up when I download single files.  But when I download multiple files the window starts to appear then the browser crashes.  is there a way to disable the warning?

Re: Downloading issues

I asume this does come into the equation at all

Firefox has a couple of hidden network settings. With Tweak Network, you can tweak these settings, and you might be able to speed up the loading of web pages. You can also increase the maximum number of simultaneous downloads from a site (the default is only four).

Maybe this is a Site Advisor warning ie in my SA Live it has a setting for download protection mine set tp Balanced  check if you have this setting
