Virtual Technician keeps telling me I havean Corrupt Dat issue.
It's unable to fix it.
I've d/led & installed most recent VT, and read everything I can find on this.
Nothing seems to help.
When I do click on "more detail" it says "Articule Not Found"
When I go into Diagnostics, it simply says the
VirusScan - McAfee SecurityCenter (ver 15.0.294) has a Top Issue.
I keep searching as to how to fix this, but can't find a thing.
What could I tell you for help, and what shall I do?

How long you have been using McAfee on the PC:
Version details of installed McAfee Product:

It is I who never got back.
I've just been ragingly busy with family issues and double shifting.
I'm still getting the problem, but will check out that new link, too. Although the corrupt DAT issue for me started months ago.
When I can think, if I"m still getting it, I"ll supply the requested data and see what can be done.
If the Virtual Technician fails to help, then best to uninstall all McAfee via Control Panel in the normal way, then run MCPR cleanup tool listed under Useful Links at the top of this page, reboot and reinstall from you8r online account.Message was edited by: Ex_Brit on 03/09/12 12:27:11 EDT PM
