I experienced a problem with McAfee and ran the virtual technician. The solution i was directed to was an uninstall reinstall. I cannot install McAfee after an uninstall. The install fails.
Did you know that McAfee has a special removal tool to completly remove any remaining traces of the software the normal uninstall fails to remove? The MCPR removal tool is located at the top of this page under Useful Links and should be uses immediately after uninstalling and rebooting the computer. Run the MCPR and reboot the computer again and then login to your online account and download and install your software.

Do you receive any specific error message during reinstallation , also provide me with the following details;
What is the operating system of the computer ?
How is it connected to internet (cable/dsl/wireless)
Do we have any other security software installed in the computer ?
Please attach a screen shot of the error message if it occurs the next time ?
