a couple of days ago Mcafee on my laptop suddendly di not recognise my subscription and wanted it to be activated.
I went onto My accout and surely the subscription was still active, but the link to my two licenses was not active and I
therefor could not see the laptops license and manage it.
I uninstalled internet security and then as I try to reinstall it, it comes up with an error.
I have to say this happened once before, the exact same thing, out of the blue. I contacted Mcafee then and live chat
did not solve anything so they arranged a time for the supervisor to call me the nextt day. The following day they were
a bit late with the phone call and as I was waiting I went online and as per magic the link to the licenses was working
and I was able to reinstall the program.
I did contact them again and they don't seem to get it. They wanted to access my computer remotely and I wasn't that
confident in that (a bit paradoid), plus by the end of our conversation I was in a rush.
I am back home now and trying to see whether there is someone there who had the same experience.

If you currently have the programs installed on your PC, please run the McAfee virtual technician from here : http://mvt.mcafee.com , it should automatically fix the issues detected.
Did you recently renew your McAfee subscriptions or purchase any new suite from McAfee after which you experienced this problem ?

Unfortunately i have uninstalled mcafee so the virtual tecnician is of no help.
THe problem is that when I go on My account the subscription is active,
but I can not access my licenses and deactivate the current one so I can reinstall again (that is how I got it to work last tim).
I do not understand why I can not do it. The picture below is what I get.

Ok so does it reflect on your security center as well. Like, what does it say when you open McAfee security center ? Your computer is secure/ Deactivates in X days etc.
Let us know any error messages that your get on security center , that would help us narrow down the problem .
the mcafee centre just showed the message your computer is at risk with the button activate that did not work.
The problem affects both computers linked to the subscription.
On MY account I can not manage the licenses to deactivate my current license on the computer.
I uninstalled mcafee on one computer and were not able to download it again.
I kind of solved one problem, which is having the subscription active and running on my computers again.
I did this by going on the other computer, whichh still had the Mcafee installed and used the tool Repair the subscription. that computer's mcafee
was working ok after that. So I tried downloading Interenet security on the first computer and that magicly worked too. So at least I am protected?
But I am still left with the licenses that I am not able to manage - I can not get to them.
So I guess that problem is not solved and really think it is on Mcafee's part.
