BSOD mfeaack.sys

I have a Dell XPS, Core i7, Windows 8.1. Since December I have been getting many BSODs and application hangs with memory intensive programs. I ran whocrashed, which generated this summary: "

30 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. A third party driver has been identified to be causing system crashes on your computer. It is strongly suggested that you check for updates for these drivers on their company websites. Click on the links below to search with Google for updates for these drivers: mfeaack.sys (McAfee Arbitrary Access Control Driver, McAfee, Inc.).

I ran mvt which found no issues. Yesterday I uninstalled and reinstalled McAfee security center, but the BSODs persisted. I rolled back my computer to a restore point of a few days earlier with no change. (I ran whocrashed after these efforts). Here are the last two crash dump reports:

The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

I suggest that you contact Technical Support and create a *Service Request* If needed you can also escalate your issue to a higher Tier Tech 2.5.

I am unable to find this redirect.

 

Is the summation that this problem is due to aged versions of Mcafee not correctly updating or more specifically idenfiying versions of code.
