Activation issue using CD

Hi...i recently bought a lenovo Z580 ideapad and a McAfee antivirus Plus CD which is designed for lenovo along with it. The laptop had a trial period of McAfee for a month. After it was over i tried installing McAfee using the CD. After some steps an activation window appeared and the installation process is not going any further. It says.."Please wait while we connect to McAfee.com..." .Wireless Internet is on but nothing's happening. The name of commodity is: McAfee antivirus 2011(Mul-Lan V). Here is a screenshot of it. Please help as to what is to be done.

Did you completely remove the trial version by Add/Remove programs and following up by downloading the MCPR removal tool under Useful Links at the top of this page?

Yes. I did tat. Now i'm getting a message syaing-"You McAfee product is not supported" The CD is just a month old and came with the new laptop! It even has a product key anol! What shud i do now?!

Call customer service they will sort it out.
